We’re excited to share that CapStream Technologies was recently featured in a WGRZ news segment highlighting preparations at Sahlen Field as the Buffalo Bisons gear up for another thrilling season.
While much of the buzz focused on the ceremonial first mow of the field, the story also spotlighted important upgrades happening behind the scenes — including a major sound system overhaul, led by CapStream Technologies.
As Howard Martin, partner at CapStream, explained in the segment, the project involves replacing aging analog equipment with a fully digital audio system — a much-needed update since the original sound system has been in place since the ballpark opened in 1988.
The improvements include:
- New concourse speakers
- Upgraded restroom audio
- Enhanced dugout and suite sound systems
These upgrades are designed to elevate the fan experience throughout Sahlen Field, ensuring that every visitor—from the bleachers to the luxury suites—can enjoy crystal-clear sound and feel more connected to the game day atmosphere.
We’re proud to be part of the team helping bring a modern, immersive audio experience to one of Buffalo’s most iconic venues.
